I really like the color, a “calm green” without being light neon or dark army green, just right in the middle- almost like a blue/green which is perfect..It fits everything without looking or feeling too bulky, when usually other bags I’ve tried are way more bulky or uncomfortable..I’m kind of a “minimalist prepper”, meaning I like to be prepared, but I don’t like tons of baggage or huge bags to have to lug around like most preppers/survivalists..(And in a real survival situation, the last thing you want is your survival bag to be the same thing that’s going to drain your energy, just from carrying it when you fill it too much…)So I’ve been hunting for the right bag for years, and this one is the best one I’ve found so far..!This bag has 3 compartments, which I found is the perfect number- main one for your normal things (like journals, books, tablet, pens, portable charger, etc), then a middle pocket that fits first aid (trauma supplies, bandaids, hygene products, medicine, hand sanitizer, etc) and then an outside pocket that fits protein bars and high calorie food, to keep you full and keep you going..! (Whether for a regular day, or for fighting zombies, it works both ways..!)Side pockets fit my 20oz waters perfectly, and I love how they have the elastic to stretch a little and hold the bottle as needed too. This is actually the perfect BugOut Bag (meaning the bag you take when you need to evacuate for natural disasters, etc), only I like to carry my bugout bag as my EDC bag, so I always have everything with me for whoever needs something… (Or even an alien invasion.. ??)I love the overall feel of the bag; it has some structure without being too “stiff”, but not too “flimsy” where it won’t stand on its own either- just a more “relaxed” design…Zippers suck a little bit, on a scale of 1-10 they’d probably be a 7 because they don’t glide that smooth, but it’s not that big a deal either; you just usually need both hands to unzip instead of being able to use one hand..The inside pockets in the main compartment do seem a little flimsy, and shoulder straps are not the best for alleviating pressure, but compared to the overall bag and the price you get for it, I would take this bag over a $100 “fancy bag” any day…It has a cute and “rustic” look to it, meaning it’s good to take anywhere, and it’s still functional too. (I hate bags that are just for show, like “sparkles”, and don’t have any functionality to them…)I also love how this brand doesn’t care about plastering their name on the bag; because I don’t like to buy stuff that makes me a “walking advertisement”…(I included pics with and without flash to give better perception of bag’s color.)All the pictures shown are with everything inside the bag, and as you can see it’s spaced out pretty well so it doesn’t look “overstuffed”, and it still just looks like a normal sized backpack…(Mine isn’t even too heavy with all this in it, because I have small amounts of everything, so it’s maybe 10-15 pounds and that’s it..)

This backpack has many compartments and allows me to organize the things I have in my bag on a day-to-day basis. As an educator, I constantly need to carry around notebooks and pens and school supplies along with my own personal hygiene supplies and sometimes treats for my students. This can hold it all, I absolutely adore it and the color goes so well with my aesthetic

If you’re a college/school girl who doesn’t need more than a laptop and iPad, this is perfect. It fits a folded jacket, a 32oz Hydroflask (in both pockets, deep enough that it hasn’t slid or fallen out of either), some small books and a single textbook and my 13” laptop and an iPad. It does not have a backbone, so it’s a bit flimsy, but the canvas fabric and the items in your backpack help keep its shape if it’s sitting against a desk or a chair on the floor. The laptop sleeve is secure enough that when I put my loose leaf textbook in there, it has a strong shape to keep it sitting upright. Great material, drags a little on clothes but it’s still brand new at the moment, and the straps are comfortable. There is a lot of loose fabric on the inside, but so far I like the cushion it gives my items and it means I can’t feel everything move around whenever I walk, and there’s still room for me to fit a lot more. Great backpack, delivers exactly what it offers!

1. AestheticsWonderful sturdy green canvas with canvas straps. The lining is golden brown soft nylon of some kind. See note under “Caveats” below.2. Outside PocketsCan fit a 32 ounce metal water bottle on one side, a slimmer bottle on the other secured with an elastic strap. Outside zipper pocket is large enough for snacks, pens, phone and so on. A second deeper zipper pocket could be used for a scarf, gloves, or small packed lunch.3. Inside PocketsGoing from the portion that sits against your back toward the outside, there’s a small zipper compartment for a small wallet, iPods, or small items. Below it is a deep wide pocket that works well for tablets, 13″ laptops, and regular sized books. There’s no elastic here, so whatever you put in will fit loosely and may bounce around a bit (your own laptop sleeve might be a good idea). The main compartment is good for a binder or two, a few small groceries, an extra layer of clothing, or something along those lines. There are two smallish pockets on the outmost layer, facing in: probably good for lip goo, mini hand sanitizer, ear buds, this sort of thing. This is exactly the pack I’ve needed for running errands on mass transit or heading to a park, museum, or outdoor event. Really love it.Caveats:- Zipper can get caught on the lining if you’re careless.- Not apparently built for heavy book loads, so not a good school backpack for students in higher grades or university/college.- Not water resistant, so if you’re not into carrying an umbrella, this may not be for you.

it is super cute and i love it, BUT, if you put too much weight in it, the straps come off. i had to sew mine back on, but otherwise i love it
